Our 2014 graduates are starting careers at Northrup Grumman, Eastman Chemical, Worldview Solutions and Quest Diagnostics … joining the Peace Corps to work in Madagascar … attending medical, veterinary and pharmacy schools … beginning their master’s or Ph.D.s at Georgia State, Virginia Tech, University of Southern California, Temple and Ohio State.

  • Physics major Mike McCaughan ’07 operates the national high-energy electron particle accelerator in Newport News.
  • Brandon Newmyer ’12 earned one of the nation’s few Goldwater Scholarships as an undergraduate and is now a doctoral student in neurophysiology at the University of Virginia.
  • A recent IT graduate earned our Information Security Certificate and was recruited to an ethical hacking team so secret that we can’t put the story in print!
